Is it hot in here? Or is it just me. 

Abolish Daylight Savings Time!

I suppose it rocks if you happen to be a farmer or something, but most of us aren't!!! And it's not the "falling back" part that is so bad. But the "springing forward" routine sucks hard!!! Especially if you have a 6 a.m. spinning class on Monday that requires you to get up at 5:15 or so to ensure a spot. So that is my yearly rant on DST.

Now, on to Jazz Fest...my favorite time of year. I know it's not officially a holiday or anything. But it should be. It's just above Mardi Gras on my list (which is just above Christmas). Christmas has kind of lost it's appeal for me since I don't have young kids anymore. The upside of that is never having to set foot in Toys R Us during the holidays ever ever again!
